I knew I would leave out some of the young kids, but as they develop and get in front of the big lights...I'll know about them;)

 

You can add 4 or 5 names to my Freshman/8th grade list that could help.

 

On the next year rankings, I had them in random order.

Absolutely. They return their 3 top players, and two of those players are top 5 in the region.

Bad news for ya, Ashland does not have the players to replace what they lost this year. Bonner will be fine, but there is no one that can do what Cannoy and Reliford did this year- next year. I predict you will be back griping again in January and wishing for football season to hurry up and get here . I'm sure the schedule will not be as tough as this year, but Rose Hill will be the team to beat in the 64th next year.

I agree and I think you have to list Cannoy as one of the most underrated players this year. Besides averaging about 8 pts and 5 boards this year he made all the hustle plays and his defense was excellent. Ashland will have alot to replace with him and Reliford gone next year. I also don't see Bonner replacing what Williams gave this year. I feel that Bonner is a year or 2 away.

Ashland will be fine next year, very competitive group of kids with or without a "new guy." Russell also returns a lot of talent, should be strong again. Nothing needs to be said about Rose Hill, they have a young team with a lot of potential. And we can't forget about Elliot, I see this team doing a lot of damage next year. Thinking back about the 16th this year makes my head hurt, its all some what of a blur to me. I really hope it's like that next year, because watching it as a fan sure was a lot of fun.

I know of one guy that had three sons play for three different high schools, without ever moving from his original residence. A lot of people in his situation would just steer clear of posting about schools and transfers - just to avoid having the irony pointed out to them.
