I wish! Even if that were possible I think the 4 screws, 2 pins, and the bone graph from my 3 ankle surgeries would probably keep me on the ground most of the time. But I can still shoot the 3. :ylsuper:

I know a guy that had 3 different kids attend 3 different high schools and 3 different colleges, very educational experience, I would highly recommend it and it opens up a lot of additional opportunities

Actually the image from your old avatar is burned into my brain. I have been trying to get rid of it, but I think it will haunt me for atleast the next 10 years. :scared:

Before. I wanted to check it out, ya know make sure it was a good investment. My dad actually financed the purchase, he's the one with all the money. I figured owning the Brooklyn Bridge could help me attract some New York City Bball talent to come to Ashland!

For what it's worth, he was taking a shot at Ashland, on the subject of transfers. I doubt seriously that many people missed the intent of his post.

I'm sorry but I didn't see it as taking a shot at anyone. GIAT said Ashland was getting a new player, which is fine. Mike Flynn has never been crazy about transfers that's a fact and I respect him for his stance. If Ashland were to have a high profile transfer, and that's a big if, then it would be out of the norm for Flynn. At least that's how I took it.

Ashland has turned down several transfers in the past couple of years, which was the exact opposite of their position in many years prior, I was just seeing if GIAT was clueing us in on a major policy shift on Blazer Boulevard. If so, that was newsworthy and just wanted to clarify.

My person opinion, is Transfers/Smansfers This is America and a Parent and a kid can figure out which is the best school system for them, in spite of any comments or opinions voiced by various factions on a message board. If Ashland does take a transfer in, fine, lets play ball. I enjoyed watching Jeff Large, Darrell Arbaugh, Chad Braley and a host of other Ashland Transfers over the years. If they get another one, who cares? Most schools around here are losing or gaining students every year, the kids dont seem too concerned with it, some of the adults need to relax.

I think there is are different types of transfers. Some school systems get kids from others school in an area, and those seem to draw a little more attention and anger. Or sometimes a kid just moves in from out of state, or a few hours away and could be for legit reasons....

There is where the problem lies, folks don't believe that the KHSAA rules concerning transfers are always for legit reasons. The governing body says things are okay, but opinions of some still say they are not legit. Simply stated, we can't seem to agree on what you consider legit.
