Because I think that CovCath road to the championship is one, if not, the toughest. But, you never know.........

Cov Cath also had one of the hardest roads to win the region (Holy Cross, Holmes, Highlands, NewCath) but they did that didnt they?? I think the reason ill take CovCath is because they are peaking at the right time. They arent depending on one certain player like earlier in the year. They are playing as a team and i think their TEAM will win state. I also am looking foreward to seeing those colonel crazies as much as i can. :ylsuper:

It's tough not to vote for the defending state champions South Laurel, but I'll be pulling for Cov Cath....

Not only did they win all these tough games, but none of them really gave CCH a scare.

Lets see, Holy Cross, Holmes, Hghlands and NewCath OR Apollo, the possible Mason County/Warren Central, PRP, South Laurel/John Hardin or the 7th Region champ. Who would you rather play?

I'll the first group.

Shelby County has a good as a chance as any body.

Hey, Hey, What do ya Say....Ma-son Coun-ty All the Way!!!!!

I went with Shelby Co.

I think the 5 best teams might be the teams from region 5-9

I hope Covcath takes it all because

1) They beat the school I was rooting for .

2) They are from Nky and this region is due .

3) They are the only Parochial school in the Tournament and the Parochial schools are at a disatvantage when it comes to basketball and the Sweet Sixteen and maybe this will go towards leveling the hardwood a bit .

I like Johnson Central's chance....They tricked alot of people. I for one did not think they could make it this far.

And they still yet to play their best ball that they can play.

Kyle Rice is Dangerous under the basket.

When Jamie Mcarty gets hot he sure does put them up and in their. Ryan Fanin is a great player also. he is good from the free throw line. tyler whitaker and sean music are both hard nosed basketball player's. I'd like to see the free throw shooting get better for rupp. The meek kid is sure good to take down the middle and quick on D. I see this team going far if they stick together.

Well that makes lot of sense !!!!!!! Covcath will be out in round #2 ....///

Most 9th region fans have not gotten to see lots of teams from other regions play. I do know that CovCath passes the ball extremely well, they have many players who can light it up from 3-land, they play great team defense, they do not rely on one or two players to carry the load offensively, they move well without the ball and rotate the leather to the weak side effectively, they have good depth, they have good point guard play with two guys (Tierney and Jacobs) who can slice and dice and give it up after dribble penetration. Their FT shooting percentage has been a little less than what they would like in some games and they do not have a big shot-blocker or leaper in the middle. They are a close-knit team with no heroes. Just the kind of team I love to see win championships! They are one of the 6-7 teams that has a legit shot to cut down the nets IMO. Good luck to the Blue Colonels. If you have not seen CovCath play, you will like their tenacity and team play and LOVE the Crazies!

Well, I made a homer vote, but I wanted them to get at least one.

I wonder what this would look like if it were only neutral fans voting. I'd say CovCath would be way down, and Mason would probably be quite a bit lower, to name a couple.

cch will win possibly 2 games but sat morning will be their last.

Re-post this next year....and probably the year after that also.

Would love to see Cov Cath do well....Still see PRP and S. Laurel in the finals. :D
