October 17, 201411 yr BP in Bellevue 3.15. BP in Fort Thomas about 2 miles away 3.29. BP at NKU 4 miles away 3.39. Go figure.
October 17, 201411 yr $2.87 in Maysville today. I'm not smart enough to figure out why. I got it for an even $3 at the cash discount place last Saturday. Meanwhile, it's still $3.15 in stupid Pendleton County.

Maybe he will have some insight for us. I have absolutely no idea why there is so much variance in the price of gasoline from one place to another. All I know is if it's $2.87 at one station in Maysville, chances are good that it's within a penny of $2.87 at every other station (on top of the hill) in Maysville.

Three summers ago, a friend of mine drove to California to pick up her daughter & bring her back to Kentucky. Gas was close to $4 per gallon at the time. She said that between here and California, there was just one town she saw that had gas as expensive as Falmouth/Butler. Couple of weeks later, we go to Pigeon Forge. From here to there, Falmouth/Butler had the most expensive gas of any town that we saw.
