I remember not too long ago one of the IHM guys played Freshman hoops at Cov Cath' date=' but then only played football after that. Pretty good footballer - Troy Timmermann (sp?) I have been told that at least one of IHM's best, if not their best 8th grade player will be going to Cov Cath next year. The big tall center whose name escapes me. He and Thelen will give Cov Cath two pretty solid freshman big men next year.[/quote']

Son of the punter from the mid-80's? If so, his Dad had the longest punt in CovCath history for many years, and it still may be the record.

Possibly. I think his dad is an alum.

Nice little tidbit. How long was the punt?

Thats him. I have only seen him play basketball and baseball. Good baseball player, but from the two future appears to me to be basketball.

That was a great story on Allen! Ryle will somewhat depend on the younger sophomores that can play. Curious to see how the O'Hara kid comes out after football from getting stronger. Cheesman is a smart player but not sure how big he is. The work horses will be O'Hara and Scherr but Owens and Puthoff will be their leaders. Will they have any size this year?

Great kid, great stroke!

Stanley will show out this year!! Snapp will not be far behind:thumb:

Totally disagree Brennan Hall is going to be the best freshman this year out ofNCC this kid ball handling seeing the court three point shot going to basket looks way better then Raavvi I have watch both play on Legends and I like Brennan game way better.. He is playing Jv for NCC can see this kid being talked about allot real soon...

Someone as close to the Newcath program as you can get told me yesterday Raavai Commodore is the best freshman in NKY. Hollis is best athlete. Commodore will see a lot of varsity time at Holmes this year.

I really like Hall though. Haven't seen Hollis to comment yet.
