NCC, Newport, Lloyd, Walton

Newport Catholic should have the district. I'm really looking forward to the 2A playoff race.

NEWPORT CENTRAL CATHOLIC

:dancingpa Newcath!!!!!

I think if Newport n New Cath meet again Newport shocks the world..

Do I really need to answer this? :lol2:

Seriously though, Newport, Lloyd, & Walton-Verona are playing some really good football.

I'd guess NewCath, and if this happens to be the one year out of every 10 I'm wrong, I'll live with it.

This has already been decided hasn't it?

Walton not in NKY 2A district. Do you mean Regional Champ then?

Walton is in district 5 2A and the other 3 teams listed are district 6 2A. So we could say regional champ. I believe it will be Walton and NCC playing to see who goes to state.

The winner does not go to state but they go to the state semi's.

Thanks for the correction.

The winner does not go to state but they go to the state semi's.

Maybe; not sure if I'm convinced enough at this point if anyone out of NKY will make the 2A state semifinals.

Just remember 1s play 4s and 2s play 3s in the cross district so I would expect NCC, Newport, Lloyd and Walton to all win first round games. It is assumed that the 1s and 2s will win so if NCC is the District 6 top seed and wins they will face the winner of District 5's two seed versus District 6 three seed (likely Lloyd or Newport). Walton would face the winner of District 6 two seed ( likely Newport or Lloyd) versus District 5 three seed.

So long story short I predict NCC hosting the Newport versus Lloyd regular season loser in Round 2 and Walton Verona hosting the Newport versus Lloyd regular season winner in Round 2.

The winner does not go to state but they go to the state semi's.

....or regional champ!
