The big game is here....

 

CAL is coming into the game 8-0 coming off a 43-0 rout of Fort Knox. DeSales is coming off a forfeit by Fort Knox and is 7-0. This game settles who wins the district. This is a meeting of two of the top 3 teams in 2A. Last year, the first game between them CAL won 27-24. The second game CAL was without their starting QB and lost in the playoffs 34-0.

 

Who wins and why?

 

My prediction: 31-27 CAL.

I think this will be the game of the year so far in 2A no doubt....

Should be a great one!

I think its great for both schools and programs. Good for them to be having such success and recognition. Should be a heck of a game.

I might have to see what Mrs. Lawnboy has planned for Friday, would love to head down I-71 to take this one in.

^this game is scheduled to be at DeSales.... But they don't play at their school. They usually play their games a Southern High School but we will see if a DeSales poster knows where the game is being played.

This feels like a low-scoring game to me. I'm gonna call it 19-17 DeSales with Johnson kicking a FG to win it.

I agree Jim Schue, it will be a low scoring game.
