And Dixie didn't do so well vs CCH....Coach Rash summed it up - they are high school kids and they are awesome and I will add who knows come game time!

I'm with you. This year is so whacky when it comes to the NKY teams.

 

Highlands is #1 team in the area but didn't they struggle against CC when they played for a bit?

SK who looked like the best team in the area then pulled a Bengals on primetime and barely squeaked by Ryle who did their best NE imitation.

 

Dixie looked so awful against CCH who in turn got throttled by both HHS and Beechwood in back to back weeks.

 

Then you have CC who also struggled mightily against Cooper as they were behind the majority of the game until the last couple minutes of the game. Cooper a team that got throttled by SK and almost lost to a Conner team that is boasting 1 win on the season.

 

Then we have Dixie. Dixie the team as already mentioned got throttled against CCH yet also destroyed Beechwood, Beechwood a team that as of 7am this morning is still scoring TD's against Cov Cath.

 

So this is probably the game of the week to watch, but I could never make a educated prediction on who will win. My guess will be whoever wins the coin toss and defers to the 2nd half will be the winner.

Behind at half and tied after 3, took a 3 point lead with only several minutes left in the game. I'd call that struggling.

Oh yeah I forgot about the four turnovers in the first half by CC.

I've seen both teams play. Dixie has two of the best, if not the best DL'men in NKY in Machlitt, and Johnson. CC WILL struggle big time to run the ball, and that's pretty much all they do. I'll go with Dixie 38 CC 13. The Dixie/SK game will be for all the marbles, hope both teams are 100% healthy going into the game, it will be a war.

They both have for 3 years now. They're used to it and play 80-90 % of the time.

I think Dixie wins, but closer than some are thinking. Then again, the way the season has went so far, who knows.

I agree with you, it's been an interesting season to say the least. I think that if you measure from early to present, you can say that teams that made the most improvement would be HHS, Dixie, Beechwood & Ryle........teams falling include CovCath (duh),Cooper (mostly injury-related) and CampCo. I think CampCo. is very one-dimensional and too much film proving it exists at this point........If Dixie doesn't give the ball away, they win this one by a couple of TDs or more.

Have a lot of respect for and have been rooting for the Camels until this week. :lol2: I'll be rooting for the Dixie Heights Colonels. It's going to be a very good battle....turnovers and penalty yards will dictate the winner!
