Forecast for heavy rain tomorrow night, that has to give Ryle even more help. I have CovCath in the NKY game, but I've now come around to thinking Ryle wins. If (and I haven't heard confirmation one way or the other) Wags can't go, and if it is pouring down rain, and with CovCath's complete inability to stop any semblance of a running game, I think Ryle wins.

 

CovCath's program, internally and externally, is completely off the rails. A very promising season has flipped in the span of 21 days, one pair of pants, one tirade at the student section, and one suspension.

No. They can win, lose, tie, matters not to me in the grand scheme. Just calling it like I see it.

 

My life is impacted not at all if they go 0-10 or win a 7th title. I have no skin in the game, per se. Providing an honest and objective opinion....one apparently you disagree with. All good.

I picked CCH, but by no means at all will it surprise me if Ryle wins.

 

The key to the game for Ryle is the O-Line. If Ryle can dominate up front on offense and with a heavy dose of England I thinkthey can chew up the clock and with a couple stops on defense they have a shot at winning. I look at England as having a similar game as Studer did running against CCH. Studer was one tough RB Sat and for his size he pounded CCH at the point of attack. CCH will have even a tougher day with England because he is much bigger than Studer and his best quality is he is a power runner. England won't avoid contact and would prefer to simply run over the defender. The only sure thing I will predict is there will be some sore D-Linemen and LB's on CCH's team come the next morning.

 

The main reason I still give the nod to CCH is I don't know if Ryle's defense can stop them.

I look for Ryle to dominate the line of scrimmage and England to have a huge game.

I was told that Hentz was the QB at the BW/CCH jv game Monday night. Hard to believe CCH coaches would use him there if they needed him Friday. 1) He would have needed to practice Monday to get ready for Fridays game, 2) Would they risk injury if he was needed for Fridays game?

 

CCh fans are tight lipped on this one!

My guess is he meant it was desperate for having Hentz play JV when he was supposedly (no clue if it was ever the case) that he was going to play the varsity 4 days later.

Not sure how it was meant but I'd say using your 3rd string quarterback would be a desperate position for a team to be in. Any team.
