I watched Ryle in person last night and CCH on TV today. I realize next week is next week but this week Ryle was the superior team.

Who wins this game? Does CCH bounce back like we all know they are capable of or does Ryle continue to push in the right direction with a win over the Colonels?

Basketball starts the 16th. Covington Catholic could be thinking about that instead of football. I'll take Ryle at home.

I will say Ryle can win this game if they keep playing the way they have. If Cov Cath has a qb issue because of injuries, then more than likely yes Ryle will win.

At this point, a monkey with darts would have better luck picking the winner. I'm simply shocked that CovCath has laid an egg two weeks in a row.

I picked CCH, but by no means at all will it surprise me if Ryle wins.

The key to the game for Ryle is the O-Line. If Ryle can dominate up front on offense and with a heavy dose of England I thinkthey can chew up the clock and with a couple stops on defense they have a shot at winning. I look at England as having a similar game as Studer did running against CCH. Studer was one tough RB Sat and for his size he pounded CCH at the point of attack. CCH will have even a tougher day with England because he is much bigger than Studer and his best quality is he is a power runner. England won't avoid contact and would prefer to simply run over the defender. The only sure thing I will predict is there will be some sore D-Linemen and LB's on CCH's team come the next morning.

The main reason I still give the nod to CCH is I don't know if Ryle's defense can stop them.

I think the key is CCH getting back on track. Ryle is a decent team and if the same CovCath team shows up that did against Beechwood the Colonels are in trouble.

You dont think our kids will be fired up after squandering that lead last year? CCH Did a great job coming back, but that was our game to lose at halftime even into the 3rd. I'm sure this is going to be a dogfight. I like our dogs...

I would expect a lot of focus on stopping England from running it down their throats.

If anyone has access to Huddl watch his run against SK when the safety comes flying in and looks like a fly hitting a windshield. That kid is a STRONG runner

Yes he is. He isn't one that has the speed to out run people. Back in pee wee and freshman he was one of the fastest in the field but as we all know once you hit varsity, you find yourself not outrunning everyone anymore. But his strength is not speed but pure power. He reminds me of Ickey Woods in that I think he enjoys running over people than he does scoring if that is possible.

I think CCH will have their hands full if England is 100% healthy.

I think the perfect backfield for a all

Star game would be Powell and England.

Clyde, I like our matchups outside if 8 or 9 comes in the box. We are not the one dimensional team of old. That's why Engler is here!

Very torn here. Based on the past two weeks, either could win and I wouldn't be surprised either way.
