down 8 great kick return to set up TD with under 2 minutes to play for the Dragons but 2 pt conversion fails OHS runs out clock. Horrible conditions, oboro controlled 1st and 4th , WC 2nd and 3rd. Whoever was against the wind struggled.

I knew this one would be close. Congrats to the Red Devils - Big Win. They should be able to roll for awhile and get some kids healthy and getvready for the playoffs. I wouldnt want to travel to Rash Stadium this playoff season!

For the Dragons, really tough loss. It will be a difficult 2 weeks preparing for the Purples with this taste in your mouth.

Not really. We couldn't throw the whole game because how bad the wind was. I bet WC ran the ball 30-40 times.

Not sure what to read off the game because of the elements. Owensboro is very good and part of me is pleased WC played with them. I think whichever team lost was going to feel like they should have won. It is a bitter pill to swallow that they lost. Five turnovers is too much to overcome in most circumstances. If I'm not incorrect, three of Owensboro's four TDs came off those turnovers, including a pick six when WC was inside the Devil 15. The Dragon defense played well, and the ground attack was much improved. Just wish they had won.
