This is a joke, so don't take it seriously. BUT...where I live, we never get visited by camaigners, etc. But this week 2 have come by our house out in the middle of nowhere. The first gentleman is running for constable (we didn't even know Hudson had a constable). The second is running for state representative. We did get a load of gravel on the road going back to our house during the primaries. And the county road that connects to that got white stripes on each side on Wednesday, and they repaved the state road that THAT road connects to about a month and a half ago. Not sure who's responsible for any of that, though. :lol: But my sister tells me none of those things happen unless there's an election. :lol2:

 

They had a whole discussion about Gravel and the power of Gravel on KSR a week or so ago. It seems he who controls the gravel controls most counties

Same thing where I live. Our road only gets paved during election years for county commissioner.

I live on a short city street that for the better part of 30 years had either a mayor or city councilman living on it. The pavement is probably over a foot thick right in front of my house :lol2:

Community based on hard work-not sure what that means exactly, but I'll investigate. Sounds good.

Obamacare (literally...printed on the card...one of my pet peeves)-That's one tick in the no column

 

Says, Kentucky needs to stand up to bureaucrats in Washington at the IRS and EPA-can see some of that.

Is it awful of me to really want to put him in the "no way" column because his campaign didn't catch that they printed Take BAKE Kentucky....and they still handed out the cards?

Who is the candidate taking Kentucky bake from?

In reading his website, the black bolded I can be at least 85% on board with. The Red bolded-no way. The rest, I need more info to understand exactly what the intent is.

If it was a county road then your magistrate probably gets the credit. If it's a state road I'm not real sure.

 

On a side note I refuse to vote for the position of constable.

That's either a habit of mine or an obsession; looking for typos in anything. It's not a deal breaker necessarily but it does make me pause.
