Sad thing is that size is a dime a dozen at schools like Elder...

Heck they had a TE that was 6'-6 240 lbs about 5 yrs ago that caught the game winner against the Birds, I think he only had 3 other catches the whole game.

He then went on to star at Notre Dame and now plays in the League...Just sayin

I watched the Elder vs St X game and they are big, physical and fast this year. That being said I think this will be a 1 score game in either direction. It may make out to be one of the better games this year.

Elder's losses to X and Moe, coupled with St. Ed's losing again last week, does this make a BIG Harbin game for the Panthers. Ed's may still lose more this season, so their second level points could continue to dwindle for Elder. (Ed's still plays Moe for one.)

Point being, this is the first time I can remember a GCL team playing any NKY team with their playoff life potentially hanging in the balance. Certainly changes the dynamics of things from their perspective.

That said, Highlands has a shot in this one provided Hoge is healthy. I don't predict a win, but it wouldn't surprise me much. Home field is big. Should be interesting as it's likely Elder is not going have the luxury of "looking past" or "overlooking" this particular game.
