May 25, 201610 yr I love old threads. I have always thought he was in the Top 3 it was hard to decide between Steph Russian and Paul. But Westbrook is playing at such a high level. He turned on a switch after a really bad game in that Spurs series and admitted as much in his post game interview last night. He looks to create and get teammates involved more over these last few weeks than he was prior . It shows how good this team can be when Durant and Russ trust their teammates. I've said from the jump I thought OKC could win because I think OKC playing at their best is better than anyone's best. The problem has been consistency with OKC. It's crazy how they were a bottom 5 team in assists during the regular season and now seeing then move the ball.

When Russian is on, it's a thing of beauty. He has worts but his upside is undeniable.
May 26, 201610 yr I agree. He looks extra good because Curry cant guard him, nobody can guard him actually but Curry isn't a good defender. I never jumped on the Curry hype train, Curry isn't the best at anything besides shooting.
May 26, 201610 yr Shot .454/.296/.812 w/ 4.3 TOPG and managed to still average 23.5 PPG, 10.4 APG, 7.8 REB, 2.0 STL. Westbrook is absolutely insane. He is the most complete PG in the NBA currently. Sure, his 3-pt shot isn't that great and he makes some questionable decisions sometimes but no one plays the game at a more intense level as him. His tenaciousness hides his problems because he so dang good.
