Take that. :lol2: While Paul has a sparkling reputation and would probably be the No. 1 PG for most people, Westbrook does have decent credentials to back up his coach's comment. He has averaged at least 20 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game the past four seasons. The only other player in the league to do that? LeBron James. Westbrook has won 36 playoff games. September 30, 201411 yr My best argument would be to say Kyrie Irving or Chris Paul. Paul has averaged 17.9 ppg, 3.9 rbg, and 9.8 apg over the last 4 years. Westbrook has averaged 22.6 ppg, 5 rbg, and 7 apg over the last 4 years. Kyrie has only been in the league for 3 years and the last two seasons have been significantly less than 81 games due to injury. Pretty good looking case for Russ.

Tony Parker is a very good point guard. My beef with him is that he'll score 22 points in a quarter and will finish the game with 23 points. I thought he scored 40 points in one game until I realized it was Patty Mills out there half the time. Parker is very nice and underrated but there are at least 4 point guards I would take before him. I'd take Rondo over Parker but there are 4-6 point guards I would take over Rondo also. Rondo has proven to be garbage without 3 HOFers on his team.

Funny, with Westbrook in the lineup they at least make the Western Conference Finals. Without him they get beat in the second round. Chris Paul arguably has a better roster around him and can't even make it to the Western Conference Finals. Which is worse?

Furthest he has made it is the second round on 3 occasions I believe.
