Spindoc: the officiating was bad, but the Steelers kept shooting thereself in the foot with 15 yard penalty after 15 yard penalty.

No question. Facemask twice extended drives. Once on 2nd and a mile and the other on 3rd down that led to the fieldgoal in the first quarter. Unbelievably undisciplined.

But I sat right in front of the rushing TD by Tampa and literally Spence was pulled down to the ground. Not held and turned where it could be questionable. Pulled to the sod. right in front of the official. Just awful. A call of illegal formation on punt return for being too close to the center. Not only was it not a block it was full on return, the guy retreated and wasn't within arm's reach of the center. I've never seen that called in my life. AB literally pushed the dude in the back on his 2nd TD. Easy call, but just awful all around. It was bad both directions. Blatant stuff, then they toss the laundry on nitpicky crap.

Agree on all counts, bad officiating for both squads. I think the Steelers will be alright though.

If 8-8 is alright I guess you are correct. Really, I wouldn't even try and run on them. I'd just take my shots all day in the passing game. If Cortez Allen is the best you have, well.... They are still better than a lot of Bengals teams I watched in the last 45 years.

When did AB become a clown? I always thought he was serious business. Did the $$ get to him?

He says he didn't know that when you went to the ground during a celebration it was taunting. Stupid, if that's what you're talking about. And the flea flicker he dropped was the easiest throw he had all day. It was perfect. It would have sealed the game, put him with his 3rd TD of the day and 200+ receiving.

Cortez Allen is awful. William Gay who is average is the best they've got. If the next FA move isn't to bolster the CB position, you can expect the same thing next year.

Yes that was it. He just never struck me as a player that does those things. Hopefully, for the Steelers he learned something.

Well, I hope some of them do eventually.

Didn't see the game. Was on the road between Madison and Indianapolis. Only radio I could get was Packers/Bears or Titans/Colts.

I'll have to see the replay, but I was shocked.

The Bucs are well, the Bucs and the Steelers are not the Steelers of 10 or even 5 years ago. Living in the Tampa Bay area, a lot of talk the past week has been the QB position and the offensive coordinator (Jeff Tedford) being out indefinitely due to medical issues. While this is just one game, I thought Glennon played a good game. He may be a game manager, but at the end of the day he makes the plays that keep his team in the ball game, instead of making an ill-advised play that caused the team to lose all momentum. It was a good win for the Bucs and one that hopefully will cause Coach Smith to give Mike Glennon a closer look at being the starter.

If McCown starts against the Saints and has his normal performance, The next game, a homer against the Ravens, may be interesting.

"We want Glennon!!!" during the player introductions?

As a Bucs fan I was glad they won but mad at the same time because I picked the Steelers in the Eliminator Challenge. Yay....I guess.

I'm still laughing at that last series by the Steelers.

I hear Snoop is upset also. :lol2:

Me too. Killed my eliminator.

Jags are only a 7 point underdog this week vs the Steelers. This is interesting :lol2:

The Steelers will either lose by 3 or win by 21.
