I agree it sucks. It's really cut down on my BGP time. Forum runner made it so much easier to post on BGP from my phone.

Same here... It's time to fix the issue or move on...

I've been stuck on the mobile website. It sure isn't the same. I'm usually able to subscribe to threads and update scores during the HS football season, but it was way too much of a pain doing that from the mobile site.

Forum Runner is no longer supported, we can't fix it.

 

We are working on an in house solution for mobile use and our target date is the end of the year.

But on a screen much, much, much smaller. When I'm at a game I'm typically updating a score in between the PAT/FG and the kickoff. It's not a lot of time. And when it's cold, I'm wearing gloves, so it's even worse.

I have/had the Forum Runner app as well...I've just always preferred having all the "bells and whistles" available to me on the full site, so once I gave the Forum Runner app a go for a bit and determined I was partial to the full site, I've never looked back. :idunno:

I'm not sure if iOS updates the same way Android does, but with Android you get a little notice that pops up every time an app is updated. The "better" and more functional apps, like most Google-produced apps, Facebook Mobile, Instagram, Twitter, and so on have very regular updates. I have 6 or 7 different Google-produced apps on my phone, and I'd bet you there are four or five days each week where I see a notice on my Android that one or another of them has been updated.

 

Each update means an app developer/programmer has taken the time to identify something that needs updating or fixing, figured out the programming logic to make it happen, written the code, and then put out the update. That's a lot of expense to go to when you think of all it entails for someone to develop an app for us on multiple operating systems like Android and iOS. Seems like a lot of effort and cost for someone to take on themselves...
