1A Frankfort (3-1) plays host to 2A Lexington Christian Academy (3-1) in week 6 football action. This is the 6th time these two teams have played with Frankfort leading the series 4-1. The Panthers escaped last year’s battle with a 21-2 win at LCA.

Things are different this season, LCA is under new Leadership and Coach Atchley has brought back the Spread offense that LCA enjoyed when they won the Class A title. LCA is putting up big numbers outscoring their opponents 128 to 83 this season. Last week LCA beat 4A Nelson County.

Frankfort is coming off 2 emotional weeks of playing cross town rivals, last week beating Western Hills 46-24. Frankfort may need to move this week’s game to the Emergency Room as they have suffered several key injuries the last couple of weeks. Not good news for a Class A team that was already short on depth. Frankfort has to rely on several guys with limited varsity experience this week.

Questions for the Panthers this week do can the MASH Unit find enough play makers survive another tough opponent or will the depth and inexperience finally catch up?

LCA isnt to young the start 9 upper classman on offense and defense. Both oline and d-lines are upper class.

LCA starts 3 frosh and 2 sophomore on defense. LCA starts 2 sophomore and 1 frosh on offense. Backups are almost all freshmen or sophomore.

Frankfort looks like an Under Armour commercial getting off the bus. They should win by 40 plus. Too many athletes everywhere. LCA is in the process of trying to rebuild something. They may still be three years away. It's hard to tell. Frankfort should be more worried about which hotel to stay in while in Bowling Green.

Then the LCA roster is incorrect.

Frankfort has rooms booked that weekend in Elkhorn City.

What is the status of #44 for Frankfort and #3? I seen two major losses against Hills? Frankfort is banged up a lot. I really don't see Frankfort losing to LCA at home. 4-1 is the Panther's record against LCA? Interesting... LCA Might be out for some good ole revenge. Injuries and mistakes might hurt the Panthers this week.

I'm going

LCA 30

Frankfort 21

Both young men are out this week.

Hate to hear that, hope they are not done for the season heard #3 wrist was broke and #44 dislocated knee already has bad knees hope they can both still play late in the season two very important disciplined missing links to the Panthers offense and defense :sorry:
