What these teams HAVE done so far this year, IS also history. Apparently, we can only go back in time as far as you see an advantage for your side of the argument.

One question. Where does most state titles exist? Campbell

Or Kenton?

A lot of good football in NKY.

But, I have to go with Campbell.

Or Kenton?

Highlands has more than Kenton Co, not to mention Bellevue, Dayton and NCC.

Boone Co. would , in my opinion have the least success only because they are new to the discussion. In Campbell you have Highlands, Dayton, and Newport that are old school and have racked up some mystical state championships or close there too. Lloyd , Holmes and Ludlow,I believe have produced some state success. Not sure the records and would appreciate someone that could give that info. I'm sure it is impressive.

I'm going back with this info. Some live in the present, I live in the past and try to connect it to the present.

I think We can all agree NKY has some really good Football.

I believe the thread was asking the question for this year since this years team records were given in order to prove the thread starters point so I would have to say it is Kenton County.

I will say when answering the best football county in the past, Campbell is good but Kenton still holds its own. Last time I checked, Beechwood (not sure why they haven't been included in the conversation) is part of Kenton County and they too have several State Championships.

Beechwood still don't equal HHS. Plus Bellevue, dayton, an Newport have mythical state titles. I'm stick with Campbell.

Beechwood cancels out Bellevue, Dayton, Newport and NCC in non mythical State Titles if we are talking titles alone. IF we are talking the best football from top to bottom Kenton County is the best this year and can certainly hold its own in past years.

Let's just forget HHS has 22 title? NCC has 5 titles since 83'. That's 27 between just them to. CovCath an beechwood don't equal that.

Not sure what you are trying to prove here. I never said historically Kenton County was better, I said they can certainly hold there own. I said it twice. Do you disagree with that?

This current football season, Kenton is best of the three. Do you disagree with that as well?

I still pick Campbell. This weekend will answer some of the questions. HHS vs CovCath an NCC vs Lloyd.

This year, two of the top 3 schools are Kenton County Schools (CovCath, SK), and only Highlands is clearly better. Beechwood, Scott, and Dixie would beat just about every other team in Campbell county except for Campbell County. I think NCC is on the edge, but wouldn't beat any of the top 5 teams in Kenton County, but would probably beat the rest.

This year:

1. Kenton

2. Campbell

3. Boone

Historically:

1. Campbell

2. Kenton

3. Boone

My mom can beat your mom up with one hand tied behind her back. :ohbrother:
