Ugly night for Cooper. Can't say I'm too surprised by the final. SK moved the ball at will. Not unexpected for playing a defense with four or five missing starters. Not taking anything away from SK offense. They owned Cooper tonight. Might have lost another defensive player with a foot injury late in the third quarter. Will know tomorrow after x-rays. I still believe Cooper is a good 5A team. If we can get healthy I believe we can make a run in the District and playoffs.

It was evident early on the game wouldn't be close. I have to say, the stripes had me shaking my head a few times. The first PAT was over the cross bar and what was the guy thinking on the punt when he blew the whistle for a fair catch before the Copper player caught the kick?

 

They also blew the fumble at the end. SK fumbled on the 1 and Cooper recovered but the Refs let SK keep it and they scored the next play

I didn't see any Cooper football players on crutches or not dressed to play tonight.

SK players where in shock when they said the extra point was no good. The punt return was a fumble an SK recovered horrible calls by that crew. I did hear their is a bunch of new refs this season.

You had your tackling machine though right? I know he got one tackle but Powell dragged him 10 yards for a first down!

His worst pass ended up as a TD. Winkler is so impressive with his body control.

So Cooper fans said in the prediction thread Cooper will keep this one closer than people think. To now all are starters are hurt. Shocker!

The pass that slipped out of his hands for a 25 yard touchdown pass. It wobbled like a punt.

Was Cooper really without several starters?

Cooper didn't have 4 starters on defense and several on offense including 2 linemen 1 being their center. Their starting QB was knocked out early, Hendrix (their backup QB and best WR ) out before half. Cooper finished with their 4th string QB

I'm referring to the wounded duck he tossed for a TD to Winkler to start the running clock. It was turrible.

Some starters? A lot of starters were out. They played well but I wouldn't be feeling great about that W.

 

Yea they should probably feel bad about it huh.......

I remember when teams used to regularly hang 50 60 or 70 points on SK all the time. I didn't see people rushing to make excuses for them about injuries, suspensions etc. How does it feel when the rabbits got the gun?

Rule 13

Look at these numbers for the season.

 

Racke 64/94 68% 926 yards 12 tds 2 ints and 185 yards rushing 4 tds. Not bad for a Sophomre!

Powell 36 rushes 306 yards 5 tds. He has only played 3 games.

Winkler 28 catches 481 yards 9 tds.

Yup should have added a Bluebird cupcake to the schedule have to wait till next year!

 

Do you think about anything you say before you type it? We all know you love SK but my God do you have to talk so bad about other teams to make your precious Pioneers look better when in reality they haven't played anyone yet? I hope one day your son doesn't grow up and have someone like his dad on here talking about him like you do every team in NKY!
