It would have been much worse if not for 2nd half substitutions. Running clock about midway through the third quarter.

SK didn't run Powell that much either just getting him some reps to be ready against district action.

Pretty much what I expected to see tonight. NewCath QB is young and needs to make up his mind much faster. SK look strong all the way around

Bottomline: Simon Kenton is WAY bigger and faster than the Breds, and the score is about what I expected.

The Breds didn't do much in the Run Dept., but that had a lot to do with the front line of the Pioneers, good god they are BIG!!!

NewCath QB, Patrick Henschen still found himself holding on to the ball a little too long, but I thought he had a really nice game considering what he was up against. There is ZERO doubt in my mind he can be a good one with experience. The two TD passes (31 & 10 yds) were both beautifully thrown balls and both receivers made nice catches (Bartels & Enslen). I say yet again, the kid throws a nice ball, things will get better once they return to 2A competition.

One more week to go in the murderous gauntlet of 6A teams, in all honesty they did much better than expected, and looks like they came out of this one injury free. Keep pluggin' away boys you will be one of the best prepared teams in 2A for all you have been through.

Only the 2nd time it's ever happened. (Ryle 2009, 45-0)

Enjoyed watching the game with hrcarrier, kyjoe, & plantmanky (we did discuss printer parts :lol2:). Also nice meeting 4luvofthegame in the tailgating lot. :thumb:

uk#1fan was to good to sit with us, but did get to chat with him at halftime.

NewCath should do real good in district play.
