This program has been surrounded by negativity for some time now. What did they say in the movie "Remember the Titans" ? Attitude reflects leadership

 

I loved that Movie.....Great flic JOAT! Sorry, I'm just trying to cheer you up. Sounds like their are some struggles right now. It's unfortunate! I had hope that the program finally found their coach.

Can someone enlighten us as to what is wrong with the new coach at Highlands? And nothing personal; just what he is doing to disrupt the program.

Please explain Birdie and Jack. Don't just leave us hanging here. If so much went down last night vs Anderson then please tell us some details. I will tell you this...Anderson may not be ranked in the top 10 but they beat Loveland 2-1 and Loveland beat Campbell 5-0. Don't think we discredit Anderson just because of their Cincinnati ranking. As far as integrity....why don't you show some Jack and stop making your references. Everybody on this site knows that you are bringing up the coaches personal life. It has been commented on every post about HHS Girls Soccer. This is not the place for it. I will be in the stands tonight for the NCC game and would love to hear all these parents complaints about the coach. I was in the stands for South Oldham and Campbell County game and only heard one parent complaining. Should be interesting to hear what they have to say tonight. I will not need to be on this message board to speak my mind though. I think the AD should come to tonight's game and have a listen to these complaints. If he doesn't take care of this parent problem, that's right I said it, PARENT PROBLEM! Then maybe these parents need to be called out for it. I have no problem calling out a parent for bashing a coach in the stands. Not the time or the place for it.

Why don't you hit your speed dial and find out about it yourself. You are right in that the problem is a PARENT PROBLEM and maybe it needs to all be brought out in the open. I am done on this topic and the whole entire situation because it is exhausting. Unfortunately have much more important things to worry about in life.

It is exhausting but the same people keep bringing it up. So why keep throwing it out there? I don't have a speed dial to find out who the other complaining parents are or what their issues with the coach are. I asked you since you brought it up in your post. You can PM me if you don't want it brought up in the thread. I guess I could come up to some of the parents on this site and just ask them at the game.

Will be interesting to see how Highlands bounces back tonight after the Anderson game. Oh by the way it is a rivalry game, so the records go out the window anyway.

Soccer too???? Unbelievable!!!!! Like AllenR said...a little internal alarm goes off inside me every time "All" and "A" are typed in the same sentence!

Maybe this will be a wake up call for the FTBOE. Some people just wouldn't listen that you just can't teach an old dog new tricks. The program went to shambles the very 1st parent meeting.

 

I love how the FTBOE put someone in charge on their Girls program having the Lifetime facts about Individuals, but instead used the last 10 years of Business success and Coaching success to lead their program. Sounds like the FTBOE has some very difficult decisions to make the next couple of weeks to get their program back where it needs to be. A stable leader. Doesn't bode well for any other HHS sport that doesn't have a FTBOE paid employee coaching.

 

I am trying to understand your point here. How did the program go into shambles at the parent meeting. I was there and didn't see what you are referring too. Did he strike a nerve with some parents because he referred to playing time not being equal..., not playing an upperclassmen just because she was a senior or junior..., playing the better play no matter the grade (Frosh-Jr.).., or was it the part about student athletes drinking??? Tell me please because I must have fell asleep during this shambles session. You can PM me if you don't want to state the reasons on the thread. It seems to me people have plenty of issues but don't want to state the reasoning.

I'm guessing there isn't a big HHS Soccer Parent get-together before each game.....so no need to ask where the tailgaiting will be?

Another loss for Highlands to NCC 2-1. Let the meltdown begin!!!!
