The train wreck that is Highlands girls soccer program was starting to show signs of improvement when the coach's decisions/actions last nigh derailed the train agian. Players very unhappy with coach and players fighting amongst each other, parents very unhappy. Should be interesting what happens tonight in game against NCC.

NCC untested and not sure how good they are going to be, very young. Lex Cath Tourny very very tough competition.

Agree on NCC. Not to change the subject but thought someone might know. Ryle is 6-1 this year but only 1-0 in the region. Are you required to play a certain number of region games or can you play anyone you want leading up to district and regional tournaments?

This program is the laughing stock of Northern Kentucky right now and not necessarily because of their play on the field. The use of the word Integrity on the team website is simply laughable.

You can play whomever you want. The only required games are those that determine district seeding and the NKAC games even though they really do not mean anything.

Maybe this will be a wake up call for the FTBOE. Some people just wouldn't listen that you just can't teach an old dog new tricks. The program went to shambles the very 1st parent meeting.

 

I love how the FTBOE put someone in charge on their Girls program having the Lifetime facts about Individuals, but instead used the last 10 years of Business success and Coaching success to lead their program. Sounds like the FTBOE has some very difficult decisions to make the next couple of weeks to get their program back where it needs to be. A stable leader. Doesn't bode well for any other HHS sport that doesn't have a FTBOE paid employee coaching.
