Moral victory, I'm not sure about. Will coach Lickert use this game to get better as a team. Absolutely.

I've always believed that only the team involved can determine a moral victory as it depends on their expectations for themselves. As an outsider I believe it was a moral victory but that and $37 will get you a coffee at Starbucks.

In that case, Highlands seems to be showing a bit of a "repetitive instances of occurrence" of building an early lead and then blowing it, and having to hold on for dear life at the end...but I am sure you also have 40 years of repetitive instances of occurrence analysis as well....

 

Regardless, anyone who does not mark it as a moral victory is either part of a program that is named Trinity, X, BG, Male, Scott Co., and a few others or has some pretty unrealistic ideas about what their program is capable of on a year-to-year basis.

Each game had a different set of circumstances, non of them are comparable as to the reasons so could not be included in any kind of detailed analysis if we were performing regression analysis to establish trend lines. Only thing in common were all were wins.

 

For a while now HHS has come out of the gate blazing which puts a ton of pressure on the opponent. I assume it's a strategy but it might just be happy circumstances, over and over and over. The CC game is the only game that matters at this point. We'll see if they continue the same type of game. If they do I'm ok with it given the results of the past. With one of their best defensive players hurt it might be that we will see it continue this year.

I thought this game was huge for Campbell. It was a game that they could have won that demonstrated they could play with the dominant team in the area.
