Cooper 31 Newport Central Catholic 0

Oh, I disagree. The predictions on here. Tail-gating in our FRONT yard. Honking and hollering, back and forth in our parking lot. Kid running a big NCC flag right up to Cooper's student section. None of that says respect to me, seemed a bit overly-confident. Just my $.02 though.

I hope Cooper never plays Covcath in football their fans might make you go crazy. I love when students show a lot of support to their highschool team and Covcath is the best in kentucky and maybe in united states.

Announcer mention the Newcath kids as little as possible, Tallon lead the team in tackles with 14!!!

Are you surprised? He is our announcer. I really have no problems with them acting like they did because the scoreboard says it all. I do have a problem with fans shouting cuss words at the refs for "missed" calls or whatever. There are lots of kids present who don't need to hear that, and this is coming from the guy who yells a lot. It's ok to voice your opinions just keep it clean.

Well, I'm sure NCC parents have something to say about Coopers PARENTS singing the goodbye song to our team. It's wasn't a student section doing it, it was a bunch of parents.

The "bellyaching" on both sides needs to stop, this game is history.....moving on.

I agree with both. Bad language is "over the top" and reflects poorly on the school. I wish it would be addressed.

The announcer is not there to support or announce for just one team. The visiting team would like to know who made a tackle or defended a pass just as much as the home team would. It's a big deal for a player's parents to hear their son's name over the PA system. If it's too much for one person to do, get a spotter to help.

I agree with this statement. I was sitting on the end of the aisle dividing NCC fans and Cooper fans. I was shocked that one male ADULT from Cooper started the chant, with other ADULT Cooper fans joining in. Very unsportsmanlike!!! I will also say I was embarrassed by the language being used by fans of both schools.

Pretty sure he did mention NCC players, I guess you don't like going to a lot of stadiums since most of the stadiums I have been to don't make it a priority to announce visiting team actions. If you want fairness build a stadium and then you can announce what you like. I'll take a song over cursing any day, and I didn't hear anyone swearing on the Cooper side.

Like I said, I was sitting in the border between the 2 sides and I heard plenty of cursing from both sides. Just because you didn't hear it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

How about coopers band packing up at halftime and driving across the track in the middle of the third quarter, they should have to turn the concession money and all the other money they make at the football game over to the athletic boosters if they leave in the middle of the game, that was bad.

Before you go sticking your nose where it doesn't belong, the band cleared their equipment off the track. The band was there until the end of the game or maybe you missed that when you left early

4 pages, with 2 1/2 crying about the band and the announcer. Great game for Cooper, terrible for NCC. Just like last year, pass defense allowed big plays. NCC stilling struggling to find right personnel mix.

You are kidding right? The band was there the entire game.

This whining has become pretty sad. In 2 games Cooper has come out with a W and all we've heard was

from Ryle fans "Cooper watered down the field" and from NCC fans, "The announcer didn't call out all the NCC players names and the band left early"

Grab a binky and move on already.
