Rank The Top 10 Teams In The 11th & 12th

Considering he played for the Travelers and that he'd been back for some games this summer, I'll respectfully disagree. Sorry, but a KY kid playing on the EYBL is a pretty big deal to me. There are only a few of those spots each year, and playing at that level usually means you're pretty good.

Just to set the record straight, Shon Wright never actually played for the Travelers. He was invited to play on the 16 year old Travelers team (which is NOT the EYBL), but wasn't able to play due to injury. He was never associated with the 17 year old Traveler's EYBL team in any manner. Nevertheless, he is a great kid and very talented basketball player. I feel really sorry for him that he has had to battle these injuries.

Tanner Johnson played for the Travelers as a 16u player last year. By your logic, he is now the best player in the 11th region. I mean, he did play for the Travelers.

Sounds like someone is bitter. Sorry that I think the Travelers have the best AAU program in the state.

No reason to be bitter. Lions do not concern themselves with the opinion of sheep.

Speaking of lions, don't you have some post to write defending Cordia?

Rose, Johnson, williams and Tisdale are the big four in this region that we know will play.. I think all fourof these guys can carry their team to the region title!!!that being said I think the one with the most help may be Johnson. Griffin talbott and Ryan provide much more depth than The other teams have.. Can't see Dunbar winning the region with no senior leadership. (they will be a tough out though).. No dominant big man in the region Play to Catholics favor.. I am not sure anyone in the region will be able to put up the points that they put up. That said I do think the region is as wide open as it's ever been and with Scott County being a complete unknown at this point who knows what's going to happen.. I'd go

1. Catholic (4 sr that are 3 year starters!$

2. Clay. (will be heavy with srs and athleTic. Last years run has to help

3. Lca . (7-8 seniors but have never been to region. Is this the year?)

4. Dunbar ( young but loaded with talent

5. Scott co ( who knows who knows who knows)

6. Station ( sleeper.. if they can score a little bit.. their defense of pressure could be outstanding

7. Lafayette... ( need a point to run show)

**wayne/Lincoln / Boyle on my pics in that order for the 12th region ..any of these three teams can compete with any team in the 11th region ..they're all really good ..

Hahaha...

Wow. Not even the best AAU program in the State, I point it out and now I'm a sheep? Sorry, you probably need to get back to your pack there, king of the jungle.

I'll write and defend whoever I want. You take your time fielding those tons of calls I'm sure you get from college coaches and mind your own program's reputation for having kids on the move.

Who all does Henry Clay have besides the Tisdale brothers?

Leander Ridgeway and Felix Wilson both played a lot of minutes last season and will be back. Dakahari Campbell and Jordan Houston are in that same boat as well. I've heard good things from more than one person about Paul Price, a smaller guard who'll be back after not playing last season. Some other names to watch: Tariq Smith, David McCorvney, and Walt Finch.

I've seen Price play. I like his game. Steady player.

Yep. Most people I've talked to about the 11th have Henry Clay in the top 2 or 3 at least. They're the one team that's consistently there, and you can't really say the same for anyone else unless you want to put in Scott County and assume some of the "Ifs" that are around them right now.

I just got some insight on transfers in the 12th region. I think Southwestern is going to be very good.

Who? Who? Who? :sssh:

Three players from Pulaski County, including PG Peyton Gover, have enrolled at SW. They have also added a 6'8" big man from Africa named David Adeyemo. I heard they'll go about 9 deep and looked really good this summer.

Pulaski County has also picked up three kids but I don't know their names.

Casey County has added DJ White from Madisonville North Hopkins.

Boyle County has added Jeremiah Bell from Butler.

Mercer County has added Malik Dow from Ballard.

It's going to be a fun season to watch 12th region basketball.

You just now got that insight? I'm disappointed in you, Wireman. :lol2:
