Impressive win in the debut of Coach Feggins!

Any stats?

Only what they reported in the paper, and don't really have any for Hoptown.

Shanklin was 10/15 for 158 yards, 3 TDs, and a pick for WC. Ladarius Mitchell caught two touchdowns, and Colin Burnham rushed for three on 11 carries for 105 yards. In all, Central had 389 yards of offense, 205 of which was rushing. The paper did not Hoptown had 139 yards of offense in the second half, 64 of which came on a TD pass against busted coverage vs the backups.

Listening to the post game for Hoptown, they had an injury (Atkins I think?) that they felt made it easier for WC to defend them in the second half. Not sure when he exited but the Dragons definitely had more success slowing the Tigers in that half, even though they kept them off the scoreboard most of the night.

Hopkinsville's Atkins left the game early 2nd Qtr, head injury. Atkins had 110 yards rushing before the injury. Tyler Graham 139 passing 1 int. 1 fumble.

Did Feggins do any good?

Did Feggins do any good?

I left at half time but he had 3 or 4 receptions by then. Two really nice catches where he went up high and caught balls over the defender. He also played several series as a defensive back. Warren Central has 4 or 5 really nice players. Lots of speed and decent size. I expect them to have a really nice season

Last I heard on the radio...and that was with 6 minutes left to play...34 penalties for around 250 yards...brutal.

Newspaper had WC with 387 total yards, Hoptown with 379, and Hoptown had more than 200 yards in penalties.

On video review, I have it as Hopkinsville with 18 penalties for 195 yards. 110 of them came in the second half, and 30 of it came on a pair of unsportsmanlike penalties that resulted in an ejection. The Tigers were hit with a total of four unsportsmanlike penalties and three personal fouls. Warren Central had 16 penalties for 130 yards. They had two unsportsmanlike penalties and three personal fouls. It was a rough game.
