  1. Hoptown's in a tough position here. There is a lot of uncertainty as to what is going to happen with the consolidation of CCHS and HHS. Coach Babb, a standout player back in the day at CCHS, was the long time assistant head coach for Tim Hayworth. The last four years (before Babb took the head girls job) they went 123-17, four straight regional championships, three final fours, and a state title game. Doesn't mean he'll have anywhere near that much success, but he's been part of a very successful culture at HHS.

  9. I would add Micah Johnson (Ft Campbell, 2005) to that list, played some fullback, but he made his bones playing linebacker and was outstanding. Still a couple of defensive players out of 33 isn't many.
