I played for Monte Vista High School in Danville, CA. DeLaSalle was in our division. We beat them in the title game in '87 and it was as if we had won the Super Bowl. Bob Ladoceur's brother, Tom, was one of my coaches. This was a great time, they were a great team, and really looking forward to the movie.

You were in high school in 1987? Wow, based on your avatar, you aren't aging well. :bunny:

Just watched it last night and loved it. Plenty of youngsters, maybe older ones too could learn something from watching it.

Caught the film today. Good flick with a great story that transcends football.

Finally saw it tonight..... Great movie is all I can say!!!

I agree with most of the comments here. I like the message and symbolism. Would have liked to seen more football though.

The lovely lady and I went yesterday. Very good movie! We really liked it.

Family saw it Sunday night. Lots of good messages. I can't believe Rotten Tomatoes has it at only 18%.

Yeah saw that and thoroughly surprised by that rating. Not sure what the critics didn't like about it.
