August 21, 201412 yr I try to support clean water in a couple of ways. 1) I regularly buy Miir water bottles for folks as gifts. Every purchase of a MiiR water bottle provides clean water to one person in a developing country for one year. They even have an awesome insulated beer growler - so kind of along the lines of what Crash was saying, I CAN be happy about drinking my beer because if what it does to help provide clean water. So...I can buy a growler AND a cage for it to put on a bike --- while helping to provide clean water?!?!

And for what it's worth, the growler is listed as a "preorder" because they make them in batches. I got one by ordering it while they were in a Kickstarter campaign developing them. I'll vouch for the fact that it works great.

August 23, 201412 yr Did it last night. Made my donation today. Definitely wasn't "only" $10. I challenge anyone who's whining and complaining about this to watch this video.... . If you still feel this is all about marketing, self-promotion, etc., you aren't capable of raw emotion or compassion.

It certainly looked to me like it had to break her neck when I first saw that video, but then I figured no way that video would have been released if that had happened.

Yeah I'm stunned that was made public. I laughed at first because I was thinking no way they put that out if she was injured. Certainly not funny though. Very tragic

Oddly, no other sites had info about her death. And googling her name didn't come up with any results. Odd that they names the "cousin", and as was stated, off that they would release the video if she was seriously injured. But I did find many links to "articles" about "deaths" related to the challenge, but all were false.
