The best part about the waiting game is that, according to Cru20154u, the decision was made about a week ago but the administration wants to look like they've been thorough in their search so they're going to make everyone wait longer... :lol:

2nd interviews were completed. The decision was pretty much completed. A 3rd candidate came out of left field and changed the dynamics. This candidate has college coaching experience that they are very excited about. I am unsure where it is landing now. My source has gone dark on me after he told me about a potential college candidate. No idea what college he was talking about or the name of the candidate. I will try to get more info but we are all probably finding out at the same time.

No offer was given to any of them that I know of. The wait may have been good in this scenario. Just not sure.

Dizzy Peyton. I had heard he had applied as well but he applied during the initial process so unless if St Henry didn't review all of the original applicants, he wouldn't have come out of left field.

What kind of college experience? Head coach, assistant, recruiting coordinator? Does he have high school experience too?

We may have the same source, but NKU recruiting coordinator wasn't the favorite from what I was told. I didn't get any name of who was though. They did say they thought it'd be offered to someone by Monday or Tuesday.

Kent Scherzer is who was at NKU and left recently. If it is him, that would be a dandy for St. Henry!!

I think St. Henry needs stability. Great to hire a "name" but many times "names" do not stay. Or in some instances even fulfill the one year obligation.
