Any suggestions for future opponents on GRC's schedule?

 

Take off Boyle County and Scott County and add both of the Jessamine County schools.

I predict wins against Rowan County, Montgomery County, Lafayette, and Madison Central. Three possible victories are available from Tates Creek, Bourbon County, and Henry Clay. I do not see victories against Scott County, Anderson County, and Boyle County. All 3 of these are on the road against tough opponents.

 

I'm no expert. Rowan and Montgomery should be wins. Lafayette, Madison Central, Tates Creek and Henry Clay are tossups. So I say Clark wins 2 of the tossups and goes 4-6.

Bourbons has a few transfers with the most notable bring Clay Bolin. #1 QB in Ky class of 2016

GRC should have a very good secondary this year. I like our chances against Bolin.

 

Who else transferred to Bourbon?

Zach Mastin linebacker from Harrison County

Another LB from Scott County and an O lineman I'm not sure from where. Keep in mind they have a D1 running back in Marshall commit Brent Holman

I remember Holman from last year.

 

The game is at GRC and not on the turf of Bourbon.

IMO anything over 3 wins is a great start for the new coach. Don't think HC will be a toss up.

 

Too much talent on this football team to have a 3-7 record as a top-end goal.

PP2 is right on the money. Either (or both) of the Jessamine County schools would be great.

 

I would love to see Woodford, Danville or Pulaski Southwest back on the schedule. Want them to keep Boyle county and drop Henry Clay (not even close to being a toss up).

 

And while this would be a long trip - add Ashland.

This is not the Henry Clay team with Elijah Bell that had Scott County on the ropes in the playoffs.

There was waaaasyyyyy more than just Elijah bell and the 6 million yards he rushed for. There are a lot of other starts on that team that will replace him. Henry Clay will running on all cylinders by the time they get to GRC.

The game is at GRC in 2014. It will be a huge advantage to have this game at home after 2 straight seasons on the road.

None of the schedule really matters except for the district games. If GRC can pick up a win on the road at Creek then they should win the district championship. GRC should be able to grind out victories at home against Central and Lafayette.
