That's because you don't know where/how to park. It's a personal preference for every person

 

 

 

Hence, that is one of the negatives for Papa Johns as most of the fans are traveling and unfamiliar with "where/how to park" as you called it. You said it best though, it is a personal preference for every person. I like WKU best because it is a lot closer for me and I like the stadium size/atmosphere and ease of use of the stadium compared to the larger stadiums. It takes forever to get to seats in the upper levels at Commonwealth and to a lesser degree at Papa granted for my 1A game there would be no need to get to the upper level. Despite liking WKU the best I would enjoy seeing the games at Commonwealth and Papa Johns again at some point and wish the games were on some sort of rotation where they would be alternate every so many years between sites but that is not the way the contracts work and I get that.

I really think the 1st year its at Commonwealth will be the largest attendance ever!

I agree. Central or not, it's closer for the greatest population. Louisville, Lexington, NKY and the more heavily populated areas will raise attendance like it or not. And the KHSAA will take advantage of that. WKU may be the best venue, but most causal fans will not drive to WKU. Many causal fans will travel two hours or less to Lexington and there are a lot of people within two hours of Lexington, see the Sweet 16.
