I would agree Paris may be the All A team to beat. Brossart graduated a ton of seniors but don't count them out. They kept 14 non seniors on the squad last year and will be led in 2015 by Spencer Hackworth, who I say will make all region this coming year. He is a deadly shooter. Kramer played quality minutes in every game last year and is very athletic. Geiman, Zink are strong and play with a lot of energy. Saunders is very solid. Jr. Jackson Crawford will need to give some quality minutes. He had to bang against Burns and Trentman for a year in practice last year so he should be up to the task. Add in the Class A coach of the year 9 of the last 10 years-Mike Code. I believe his entire staff will be returning as well.

Shewwww Weeee. If you put it that way then im leaning twards Jenkins. Explosive to the rim and can pull up from 20'. Kid had a ton of fight and desire and i like his overall game ever so slightly over Jackson. I will take the big man in 15/16 when hes a junior. :lol2:

 

Ok... You take Jenkins over Jackson because he's explosive to the rim, and he can pull up from 20ft? Have you seen Jackson play? He's is just as explosive getting off the floor, can score at all three levels consistently, and has the best crossover in the 10th. You simply cannot guard Dre Jackson with one player, it takes a team effort.

I would argue that Dillon Pulliam was the most important player for Harrison last year. Very tough, good rebounder, smart player, good leader, strong, and could hit shots when he needed too for his team. Will be interesting to see who Harrison turns to this year. Has to be Jenkins. However, I argue that while Jenkins is very good, his supporting cast isn't as good as Campbell's. Neither will have much depth. However, I'm taking Wilson over Thomspon, and I'm taking McGoveney (iq, passing, toughness, setup man) over Pulliam (shooter). I also think Losey adds 7-10/game which adds a nice 4th piece for Campbell.

I may be a little bias, I can admit that... But I think people are really missing on Jackson! He is a really good shooter, great scorer, nice passer, really good vision, excellent handle.... If he rebounds and starts the motion of the ball up the floor, say... 50% of the time, you'll see that he is hands-down the best player in the 10th. And, Campbell will be the clear favorite as number 1 in the 10th.

 

That said, Wilson, because of his size, I would say is the 3rd best player in the 10th coming into the season (behind Jenkins), but will end the year as the number 2 best in the region (primarily because of his size). Most talented kids (like Wilson) tend to really hit their stride about midway through their Junior season (much like Jackson and Jenkins, even though both were good... They really came on strong about midway through last year).

 

All of this said, I think Campbell goes as Jackson goes, and Harrison goes as Jenkins goes. I just hope they both go to the 10th final and play it out.

You make some great points. And who know it may just as well be someone other than them three who comes outta no where and has a breakout year. I personally look foward to watching all the players mentioned in this thread next season. As it should be a lot of fun in the tenth for the foreseeable future. :thumb:

Campbell County is the team to beat because they were cutting the nets down last year. Holbrook was a big loss. However, Wilson and Jackson are a year older and their is not doubt that this is their team. Last year they struggled because they struggled to share the ball. Perfect example was the first game with Brossart. They were selfish and Brossart blew them out. However, in the post season they played together and shared the ball. Losey is a good defender and I believe #25 has grown about 4 inches and is very, very good. Other than Scott, no one pushed them to the limits in the postseason before Rupp.

Harrison will be very tough as well. I think Mason continues to win games. Clark will play great defense and get better. The sleeper team has to be Scott. They played 20 games last year with out their best player and top 5 performer Blake Schneider. When he did return he still was not 100%. Jake Ohmer, sophomore to be, stepped in and averaged 15 per game. They have to be considered one of the best backcourts in the 10th and NKY. The Top 5 has to be: Camels, Harrison, Mason, Clark, and Scott, however just my humble opinion.

I've got King high because he does everything. Solid scorer, excellent rebounder for his size, & outstanding defender.

Agree on the fluctuation of the bottom group. I see the players in three tiers right now: Tier 1 is Wilson, Jackson, Jenkins. Tier 2 is Henry, King, Crawford, & Schneider. Tier 3 is Garrard, Thompson, Cooper, Ohmer, Snapp, & probably a handful of others. That's just how I look at it right now.

 

Love how this kid plays. He will give you all he has each second on the court at both ends. I was impressed with him the first time I saw him play in summer ball a few years ago. Very impressive in a small package. A player to watch for is Jerryd Jones of GRC. Had a good year last year as a Freshman. Look for him to have a breakout year this coming season.

I think Scott will have to rebound as a team. rebounding is about positioning and "want to". They have a few kids (sophomore Manny Allen, played really well this summer & Junior CJ Seay). Those two will get the first shot.
