Koebe Garrard of Paris would definitely be in that 8-10 group for me, as is Trenton Thompson. Cooper probably rounds out the list.

 

Wilson, Jackson, Jenkins, Henry, King, Crawford, Schneider, Garrard, Thompson, Cooper. That's probably my top ten. Ohmer & Snapp are really close though.

 

I would put Ohmer in the top 10 and Thompson out(I guess I'm a guard person). Also, although he is not in the top 10 players in the region you can't forget the best shooter(Connor Hinson), you have to guard him and come off screens on him because he only needs a split second to burn you for 5-6 threes.

King & Henry would round out my top five as of right now. I'm not sure which order I'd put those two, but they are my next two. I see King as less talented than the other four, but #1 in terms of the intensity & effort with which he plays. Henry seems to be the one player who could improve the most from last year to this simply because he'll be the focal point of the Mason County offense. He's tough to handle down low.

 

I go Crawford & Schneider at 6-7, probably in that order. Numbers 8-10 are much harder to determine IMO.

 

I don't have King in the top 10, not because he's not but because like last year I may only see him play one time. Based on potential and athletic ability, Henry is the top player in the region(IMO)

Connor Maddox is the best spot-up shooter I've seen in the 10th, but I like Snapp's versatility a little more.

Agree on the fluctuation of the bottom group. I see the players in three tiers right now: Tier 1 is Wilson, Jackson, Jenkins. Tier 2 is Henry, King, Crawford, & Schneider. Tier 3 is Garrard, Thompson, Cooper, Ohmer, Snapp, & probably a handful of others. That's just how I look at it right now.

The more aaithink about it I would also add Zac Pulliam to this list of names from 11-20. That kid really impressed me when Thompkins was out for Harrison last season.

(who played one of the toughest schedules last season and went a little over .500) might deserve some consideration for farorite. There is not anyone remotely close to these 2 teams unless major transfers come to a few. They are big,athletic,experienced and senior-laden. For fans of schools other than these 2, the season after next should be fun and very even in the 10th region. I do think the 10th region All A is very wide open this coming year though

I think Campbell is the clear #1 & Harrison the clear #2.

 

Campbell County loses Holbrook, which will really hurt, but in addition to Wilson & Jackson they return two other starters in Trent McGovney & Blake Losey. Jake Franzen was valuable off the bench last year & might slide into that open starting position this year. I don't think anyone returns more firepower than the Camels.

 

Having said that, you make really good points about Harrison County too. Those 3 kids you mentioned could all be top ten players in the Region. GRC, Mason County, & Scott would round out my preseason top five.
