June 24, 201412 yr Interesting. Wonder if he ends up at UPike. That was my first reaction as well. I've heard from several folks that he wouldn't be happy anywhere that was too far from home. To be fair, per Wireman's story, the coach that was there (when he signed) is no longer there. While kids technically sign with schools, they really sign with coaches. Gotta wonder if that played a role. If he's released from his letter, I would assume that he could play at another D1 this year?

Yeah … From everything I've gathered, Shane has that same disease (although possibly more extreme) that afflicts a great deal of Kentuckians. Can't stand to be away from home. Same reasons the dorm parking lots at colleges across Kentucky are ghost towns on weekends.

That's why have always thought that AAU is such a waste of Mom and Dad's money to some(not all) because it is supposed to open up college doors and opportunities not only inside but outside of Kentucky.
