Here's the best one I can come up (don't listen if you're going through a breakup):

AIC has more than a few dark songs. I didn't know the song was about Cantrell's father.

Makes me think of my old man and his buddies.

Rein it in, B-Ball Fan. You'll have a mass suicide on BGP if you keep this up.

You're probably right... and listening to 5 straight Morrissey tunes in a row is probably not a good idea either. :lol2:

I find it's best for me to pick and choose times when I'm going to go down a Morrissey/Smiths or Cure rabbithole. I love the records, but I just never know what kind of mood I'll emerge in after I get done. :D

This song gets me every time. Between growing up a huge Phillies fan, and as 10 year old, watching Tug Mcgraw get the final out and knowing the story and relationship that Tug and Tim McGraw had, coupled with the death of my father almost 2 years ago, this song strikes me on a few levels.

A lot of good ones above, so I won't repeat, but two that get to me which is probably stupid, but:

Puff the Magic Dragon

House on Pooh Corner (just heard it at lunch today again)

I suppose both hit me as innocence and childhood lost. Once for me and again with the children.
