June 30, 201412 yr Any recommendations of a certain bed and breakfast? My only concern with that is that once I'm in a B&B or a hotel I don't want to drive downtown because of bar hopping,etc in the night time Nah. stay downtown.
June 30, 201412 yr Author We always (and are again) stay about 1.5 - 2 miles off Broadway. Hotels have free shuttle services that take you right to the heart of downtown. Usually run until 10-11 pm. We typically take one down, then take a $10 cab ride back to the hotel. Typically the hotels that distance from downtown are considerably cheaper than those in the heart of the strip. The one we've previously stayed at was the Millennium Maxwell House. Got it on Priceline for roughly $80 a night.

Also, is Broadway where basically everything is at, including some of the eating places mentioned on this thread?

I'd direct you to google for the various eaterys mentioned here, as they're spread throughout Nashville. Broadway is where most the entertainment/music/nightlife is. The drive in is easy. There's not much congestion or traffic at all.

Is the nightlife still good on a Tuesday-Thurday?, the days I will be there. Thanks Yes. Ryman is less than a block off of Broadway right by Legends Corner. Museum is a 2-3 block walk from Broadway. Nightlife and live music go from 10 am - 2:30 am 7 days a week, so yes, it'll still be good.

Most on Broadway do not ahve covers. they pass around tip jars inbetween sets. 3rd st is where mos to the other action is. there are cover charges down there

You sure you're thinking of Nashville? :lol2: I guess I'm thinking of 3rd street with the covers? Either way, the entertainment is well worth any cover I've ever paid down there.
July 2, 201412 yr Breakfast was usually at Noshville. We didn't even want to think about the line a the Pancake Pantry so we hit Noshville for breakfast. I had the deli ommelette which had both corned beef and pastrami. The previous day I almost hit a taxi head on while exiting the Noshville lot going the wrong way down a one way.

We stayed in the 12 South neighborhood, it would be a great place to live. I wish we had one more day, 45 hours wasn't enough time. I would love to take in a Titans/Bengals game and will likely make a trip for an SEC tournment.
