That kid is a PLAYER! Strong fundamentals in the post, and a surprisingly high motor given is size.

I'll take Jared Farris over Ross Jenkins.

 

2016 lacks a "super big". There aren't any kids 6'8 or taller that I know of. Jenkins, Farris and Wilson all top out at 6'7

Lafayette High School, started last year as a sophomore on one of the best teams in the 11th (and the State). Plays AAU with KY Elite 16Us IIRC, same team as Eli Wright of Apollo.

So Hoop Dreams now has Wright, Moss, Eaves, Hager, Robinson, Dow, Farris, Snapp and who else ? That's a very STRONG 8 deep team .

Also Cam Jones from East Jessamine. I was impressed with this kid at state. Made alot of things happen with his athleticism on both ends of the floor. Hoop Dreams 16u is stacked. I've said it all along, Will Hager is the best 2016 in the state that nobody talks about. That kid is a ball player!!!

Revisiting this one now that the summer evaluation is nearing should show us how things can change very quickly. Look at how Holman has exploded over the summer. Now you can make a solid case that 2015 not only has the most depth, but they also have the most top end talent considering the offers of some of the lineups they can roll out. With the emergence of Holman and his summer performance seeming to firmly legitimize his case, you have to like the number of ways the 2015 lineups could possibly be adjusted to take advantage of their size. As the process keeps playing out, the more you think Wright and Goodin would just have to unleash an offensive onslaught for the 2016s to be able to stay in the game. Take either of those kids and put them on the 2015's and there's no question who wins. Take any kid you'd choose off of the 2015's and put him on the 2016's and the game is still debatable. Your choice there would probably be Spalding, especially given your lack of size, but that still leaves the 2015's with Holman (and Matlock).

 

 

Know I'll probably leave some kids off and once you get past 5-6 kids in each class, things get really debatable regardless, but how do these teams look now?
