How is he doing this summer?

Has been out for much of the summer with a hip injury.

Revisiting this one now that the summer evaluation is nearing should show us how things can change very quickly. Look at how Holman has exploded over the summer. Now you can make a solid case that 2015 not only has the most depth, but they also have the most top end talent considering the offers of some of the lineups they can roll out. With the emergence of Holman and his summer performance seeming to firmly legitimize his case, you have to like the number of ways the 2015 lineups could possibly be adjusted to take advantage of their size. As the process keeps playing out, the more you think Wright and Goodin would just have to unleash an offensive onslaught for the 2016s to be able to stay in the game. Take either of those kids and put them on the 2015's and there's no question who wins. Take any kid you'd choose off of the 2015's and put him on the 2016's and the game is still debatable. Your choice there would probably be Spalding, especially given your lack of size, but that still leaves the 2015's with Holman (and Matlock).

Know I'll probably leave some kids off and once you get past 5-6 kids in each class, things get really debatable regardless, but how do these teams look now?

2015:

G - James 'Beetle' Bolden, Holmes - WVU

G - Cam Justice, Knott County Central - Vanderbilt

F - Matt Rose, Lexington Christian - Lipscomb Offer

F - Aric Holman, Owensboro - Offers: Okla. St., VCU, Memphis, etc.; Interest: Florida, Louisville, etc.

C - Ray Spalding, Trinity - Louisville

Bench:

Dwayne Sutton, Manual

Drew McDonald, Newport Central Catholic

Jeremiah Tisdale, Henry Clay

Jax Levitch, Trinity

Jaqualis Matlock, Hopkinsville

2016:

G - Quinten Goodin, Taylor County - Indiana/Michigan Offers

G - Darius Williams, Dunbar - Heavy interest from WKU & others;

F - Malik Dow - Ballard

F - Eli Wright, Apollo - Indiana/Virginia Tech Offers

F - Carson Williams, Owen County - Very good summer in EYBL

Others:

Braxton Beverly, Perry County Central

Kevin Kirby - Waggener

Ben Weyer, Newport Central Catholic

Will Hager, Mercer County

Ethan Snapp, Newport

Colton Elkins - Boyle County

For the 2015's, I'd include Hagen Tyler from Boyle County. He also has at least 4 D1 offers. Otherwise, the list looks pretty good to me.

For the 2016's, I think Matt Wilson of Campbell County warrants consideration in the 4/5 spot. Also, I'd probably make a couple of changes to that starting lineup but, overall, the list looks pretty good.

Look at how Holman has exploded over the summer.

According to an article in the Owensboro Messenger Inquirer today, apparently Holman has received 15 D1 offers since the start of the July evaluation period.

What's the 2017 class look like? It seems like there are a lot of kids getting publicity and offers playing up in Louisville this week.
