June 6, 201412 yr Need to include the subplot about all of the spying. Yeah, there could be a ton of stuff in it. Maybe make it a mini-series instead of a movie.
June 11, 201412 yr Sport's related. But I think a movie about LeBron James and Brian Windhorst's relationship. Jonah Hill already has that role locked up.
June 11, 201412 yr I'd like to do a 30 for 30 on former Gallatin Co. HS star Tony White, just to flesh out what of the wild, outlandish stories I head about him were true and what were made up. Mack The Knife would be my chief editorial consultant.
June 11, 201412 yr The transportation industry. There is a lot of intrigue here. You have a ton of foreign owned companies from the middle East and the former Soviet Union. The amount of illegal transactions, the corruption. Lots of human drama as well.
June 11, 201412 yr 2012 Cooper Jaguars Football team. And A much better movie based on the book Into thin Air than the piece of crap they actually made.
June 12, 201412 yr Even though the last few minutes would suck I'd like to see a 30 for 30 on the Greatest College Basketball Game of All-Time Assuming you are talking abut UK/Duke in the 92 tournament. If so, ESPN actually did a special on the game that was more of a documentary, years and years ago. It was a great special. Great footage and background on the game and both teams, along with great interviews. All the Kentucky seniors were part of the special, and many Duke players were interviewed as well, along with coach K. Pitino was the only person who chose not to be interviewed for the special. Although it was only 30 minutes long, it would stand up right now with most any 30 for 30 piece (most of which are actually 60 or more minutes). Alas, it's probably really hard to find this special. I had a copy once on VHS, but I think someone "borrowed" it and I never got it back.
June 12, 201412 yr Since I slightly thread jacked with my last post, I will add one I'd like to see from the 30 for 30 series. UK/UL in the 1983 NCAA tournament. I think it could be a great story in hearing from both sides why they hadn't played in so long, how each school and it's players looked at the other, how the state looked at both, etc. Then, of course, the hype once it's determined they will meet in the regional finals. Then what the game meant to both schools/teams, how that game led to the rivalry returning in the regular season, and led to the schools also playing in football.
