Is the ace for each team pitching I wonder? I would think probably NOT, DUE TO THE TOUGH GAMES LEADING UP TO THIS FINAL.

Almost any team can beat any other team in a given game. That said X wins this one 7 or 8 times out of 10. Here's hoping the Rocks beat the numbers and bring home the W!

Due to the dad of Logan Porter being a Conner grad I am pulling for T.

Game is played tomorrow night at 6pm

Very good. I was getting a bit nervous when I tried to look up a score around 6:30 and didn't see any.

 

I will have to admit, based off what I've read this baseball season I'm a bit surprised to see the Rocks here, but that's what makes baseball exciting. I think the Tigers will be a bit too much for the Rocks and X advances to Lexington with a 4-1 win!

I like St.X in this game they are a better team but it's tough to beat a good team three times in a season it will be a close game Go Tigers!

Rocks are playing good ball. The record is deceiving, they are a very good team. The difference will come down to pitching & errors. X is very deep at pitching and they have played against a brutally difficult schecule. The team with the most composed pitchers / team will probably win, as it will be an intense environment.

St. X was able to save some pitching wtih playing Manual in the 2nd round. Since Revellete went only 3 innings against Eastern, he will be available along with Underwood, who I believe is there top reliever. Mundt only threw 5 innings so he's also available. St. X sets up pretty well tonight for pitching not sure who Porta will go with but he has to feel good about his situation.

 

On the other end Trinity used Rousseau and May and both went all 7 so neither can pitch tonight. If the game somehow gets washed out it would be interesting to see if May comes back on short rest on Friday and throws. If not I'm assuming Tompkins will give the ball to junior, Nick Hoffman. When the kid is on he has very good stuff.

Who says both teams are well coached. Trinity was 16-15 going into Regional play. There is no reason that a school with 1300 boys should be a 500 team. Looks like Coach hit lightening in a bottle with his two best pitchers and Ballard and Male overlooked them a little.
