Athlete's First is one of the better teams in the EYBL....big win for the Travelers

Justice 17, Bolden 13 & 6 rbs, Rose 13, McDonald 11 & 7 rbs, Williams 9 & 8 rbs, Sutton 8 & 10 rbs, Perry 6

Cam Justice 0-8 from outside...don't think you'll see that happen too often.

I'm for all KY kids, but I think Justice can get a little caught up in looking for his shot sometimes. Great example of that was the first round game at State this year. He probably needed to play well for them to win, but he took a lot of ill-advised shots and/or made some drives looking for a foul (which he was probably used to getting) that kind of forced the issue. I just mention this because he'll probably have to be more adept at facilitating if he wants to maximize his impact at the next level.

In general, agree that he's a player and can fill it up though. Hope he is having a good season on the EYBL.

As of right now, the Travelers are in the Peach Jam.

A win tomorrow will lock up a berth. Could still get in with a loss but would need a team or two to lose as well

Totally agree. I hope he does well this summer and next year but they will have to fix that chicken winging of his.

Yep. You don't get the same calls in Rupp that you usually get as a star of your region. That's not an indictment of the 14th, it's just a fact of the matter for the state at large once you get to the big show.

All that said, Justice needs to have the ball and have it often for KCC to have their best chance to win.

I'm sure it's not an easy task for him and when we're in a discussion like this, it's kind of splitting hairs on the kid's game because he's undoubtedly one of the best and most talented kids in the state.

Lost to Team Texas Elite 72-62 this morning,

Travelers are 1 of 5 teams with an 8-8 record

So what does this mean now? They in or out?

OK, what does that mean? How do you earn a wild card berth?

The 4 teams in the mix with 8-8 records are all vying for 3 spots. Long story short, one team will be dissappointed.
