After watching Hunter Meyer this weekend I have to believe he will be in the hunt for the PG spot next season for Dixie as I see Schreck having to score more for them with BH departed.

Hunter can compete at a high level. Last summer he was in open gyms holding his own against college level players as an 8th grader.

Excited to watch him develop over the final 3 years of his high school career.

Is Smith for New Cath not playing basketball?

I'm sure he is. He will be apart of the rotation but it will be hard for him to get a lot of minutes because of Pangallo and him likely playing 30 minutes per game.

While Meyere is a very nice player. It's hard to believe Meyer would handle the ball more than Schreck/Rabe. Those two have been a major part of the system for going on 3 years now. No matter who the "PG" is... without hatton, it's going to be a scoring by committee design, I would have to believe. In my opinion, they may need to play from the inside/out to open things up for those guards. Good thing is, Dixie has some bigs & athletes to do that.

Agree that Schreck, with others, will have to pick-up the scoring with the absence of BH.

In Dixie's system, the PG does not get to shoot much.

When Hatton brought the ball up he was not technically playing PG. He was dribbling across the halfcourt line and shooting most of the time. He was/is a very special player as far as scoring was/is concerned, so, I doubt we will see that wrinkle in Dixie's offense this next season.

Right now I don't see him as part of the rotation.

IMHO, I didn't see him getting much time if he did.

Care to elaborate on why.

He has decided to focus solely on football. He has attended 1 combine camp so far this year and will be heading to Nashville in May for another camp.

Garnerning any interest from anyone collegiately? I also thought hoops was the reason he went to NCC.

Originally yes I believe so, but he has chosen to focus on football, which is a very wise decision in my opinion.
