Fun game to watch at "The Furnace"...Hat's off to Lewis...Coach Hampton had his team ready & they never quit...You just knew that given the time to prepare, Hampton would have the game plan to give his team a chance to compete & possibly win...Lewis was certainly the underdog but when it was all over Greenup knew they were lucky to get their recent first round district loss "monkey off their back"...

 

Congratulations to Coach Hicks for gaining his first 16th region tournament berth...Survive and advance is the name of the game this time of year...

What calls do you feel went against Lewis County?

Heard there were some shaky calls not in Lewis Co. favor. I don't know, didn't see it.

 

But as far as officiating Morgan Co. was beaten by the better team tonight in West Carter, fair square...officiating was fine...however, there was 1 loss this year and about 4 or 5 wins the Cougars actually had were officials can certainly swing the tide and single handedly decide the outcome of the game or in some cases not the "W" or "L" but keep it tight???

 

Overall, though hard to comment on a game without specifics.

Coach Hampton might be the best postseason coach in the region.

It seemed like two totally different games from half to half. The 1st half neither team could put the ball in the whole but the second half neither could miss. It was astrange game.
