I'll give you a shortcut for #10: Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives. Instead, go to Puerto Rico and at least take an overnight side-trip to Vieques - save yourself some serious money. It's a little Puerto Rican island over to the east of the main island. Spent half of my honeymoon there. There's a bay there called Mosquito Bay that has been verified to be "the most bioluminescent body of water in the world" - it has the highest number of glowing phytoplankton per measure of water. We took a night time kayaking tour through the bay, and it was un-freaking-real. It was like you were kayaking in the movie tron. Any time you, your kayak, your paddle, or a fish disturb the water, the phytoplankton glow a greenish blue. We saw schools of fish swimming by our kayak, and it looked like a lightning storm under that water. Absolutely unreal.
