He is one of, if not, the best defensive SS in MLB. Pretty sure the Braves just locked him into an extension to keep him in Atlanta for quite a while.

April 19, 201412 yr BJ got a hit in the 9th this making him 2-4 and bringing his BA to .210 Harang tosses 7IP and no hits and the Braves bullpen allows 1 hit but keeps the shut out. I will admit this has been a surprise by the Braves starting pitchers. They've been lights out this year.

April 19, 201412 yr Fredi is going to have some tough decisions to make in the rotation when Gavin Floyd and Mike Minor return. David Hale is gone from the rotation for sure when they come back and Minor is the only one guaranteed a rotation spot. Fredi can make a number of decisions like keeping the rotation as is and send Floyd to the bullpen or swap out him for either Harang or Wood. If it's a close decision though I think Wood gets the nod sine he is going to have a bigger future with the Braves than Harang will have.

April 20, 201412 yr Author BJ is up to .217 average. He actually got an RBI today. Uggla is up over.240. Either way much better than last year for both.
