My son loves them. He graduated from UK last year and he said they routinely were at Tin Roof in Lex. I'm thinking he said they are coming to Cincy soon. Maybe Tin Roof here. Not sure though.

1st bold: He probably meant Redmon's in Lex. That is where they got their start and they are playing there quite often.

2nd bold: They will be performing tomorrow night (Mar 6) at the Southgate House Revival. Tickets can be found online. Doors open at 8 and the show is scheduled to start at 9 (I do not know who is opening for them).

I absolutely love their music and I will be in attendance tomorrow. If any other BGPer goes, please let me know.

Pretty sure one of the two played for Coach Booher.

That would be Kris Bentley, played bball at Shelby Valley.

Nick Jamerson played football (and basketball?) at Prestonsburg and was an active member of BGP.

I just talked to the Mrs, it is our 26th anniversary today and she thought that would be a great anniversary gift, so we got our tickets for tomorrows show already :)

Mrs C and I were at the release party at Redmon's on Saturday. Been listening to them for a quite some time now.

How was that? I haven't had a chance to listen to the new CD but am hoping to tonight or tomorrow before the show. Pretty solid from what I hear.

They actually got a release a day early on Itunes, you were able to buy it on Monday.

I knew they did the early release but between school, work, baseball and my personal life I haven't been able to listen to the songs. I have it downloaded, just need the time.

Yep, you are right. It was Redmons. And he said he is going tomorrow night.

Personally, unlike a lot of bands, I think they sound better live. They play with so much energy.

The album is excellent, but I like the original version of Lily a little better than Lily '14.
