Thanks for your studied reply, Sumo. Classy. That is very difficult to do when it hurts so badly at the time.

I am here but not OK! I did not want to post earlier when I really angry and it has gone down but not by much. Also, since 95% of the posters on this thread wanted Mason to lose, I really did not want to post but Mildford Flash was worried about me. Bach raises his game to Super human levels when he plays Mason and he was termendous. With that said, I thought the Refs really protected Bach. When he makes more FT's than Mason takes, I wonder. Of Mason 21 fouls, 15 were against Bach. Also, no one has mentioned the call when the Ref right on the call called a block, and the Official across the floor came over, out of his territory, which is a big no-no called a charge. That costs Mason two FT's and another foul on Henry. I have seen Refs from under the basket and side Ref disagree on a block charge but never both outside Officials. Also, I am hearing that an Augusta Cheerleader ran into the Mason player when he threw the long pass that went out of bounds. After the pass, the Official and the Sheriff was fussing on someone but I did not know why until later. Augusta played a perfect game, slowed the game down, had basically no turnovers and had the best player on the floor. That usually means a winner. Congrats to Augusta and Coach Hinson on a great game. And yes it does still sting alot!!!!!

......yet 19 of the 24 posters that voted in the prediction poll picked Mason to win. Most by a sizeable margin.

Agreed that was very odd call with the ref huddle. Could have went eithier way but not both ways. Agreed there was a blocking foul, but Henry pushed off before the block ocurred. RP and I had a great view of the play. RP said blocking at the same time I said charge. Easy for the refs to say the same thing. Should have been one way or the other but not how it went down. I say charge. IMO.

O`Mara pushed the Augusta cheerleader I saw it clearly she wasn't happy about the shove and neither was her mother which the sherriff had to hold her back.

Ok folks! Let's give this a try.

6 videos. Number one starts out with about 20 seconds to go. Each gets closer to the end of the game.

I didn't have a great view of the block-charge play, but I've seen this instance a couple of times this year. Two officials can't agree what the call should be and each assesses a foul, then play returns from the point of interruption. I feel like by assessing a foul to each, you're punishing both players because the officials can't determine the correct call. I feel like it should be one or the other, or nothing.

There is no problem with an outside official calling a foul IF the play originated from his primary. It's actually in the book that way.

The big issue is why you had two official both coming out without being aware of the other. That's the issue.

As to 15 of Mason's fouls being on Bach how could they not be? He had 48 points. He WAS the offense.

To be clear there is no "agreeing." They can't get together and said "which one of us is right?" Once they both come out with a call both calls stand.

In video 6 the cheerleader tries to tip the ball when he takes it out

TAC, thanks for the videos.

Can anyone tell me if I can now "unlike" a post?

The final couple of plays will not go down in the annals of Mason County history.

I am so jealous of people that got to attend this game in this environment. It's EXACTLY how high school basketball should be. We've gotten so soft "oh I need comfortable seating and I need plenty of parking and I need a lot of concessions...."

Give me a sweaty bandbox gym with my rear end numb from sitting on a hard bench seat and my ribs sore from the elbows of the big guy next to me.

You guys who went are going to remember this one.

I see that however she did not make contact with the ball and the mason player did not even notice. It is clear in that video that he shoves the other cheerleader before throwing it. I don't believe cheerleaders should be close to the action but there is no excuse for what he did.

He did nothing that bothered me. Girls had no impact on his throw.

You wouldn't dare!!!
