football momma Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Rematch tonight at NDA at 6pm. Thoughts?
RCC9 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Should be a good one. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
football momma Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 I really don't know who has the most pressure on them. NDA or Holmes. How do you see it with Holmes beating the Pandas during regular season play? How much does home court play in a district game?
RCC9 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I really don't know who has the most pressure on them. NDA or Holmes. How do you see it with Holmes beating the Pandas during regular season play? How much does home court play in a district game? Here's how I see it. I just told someone this. I think the first game was played without Ogle. Now she is not always a huge difference maker on offense, but she is on defense. Arguably the best defender in the region...(I'm sure Ware and a couple girls on Holmes would have something to say about that). But I just feel with where both programs are and Olgle healthy, ND is more equipped to make adjustments than Holmes. You know what you get with Holmes. I think ND can throw some different things at you. With Holmes' youth, it's hard to change what they do and expect success. I look for ND go sit back in a zone, use their length and size and force Holmes to make shots. Now what ND will have to do is protect the ball and not give Holmes easy chances. I think they will in this game. If you limit Holmes to half court options, that's when they seem to not be as successful. With all that said, I reserve the right to change my mind! Knowing the athletes Holmes has and the speed they have, they can cause chaos at any time. If they can get ND to "panic", then it's a coin flip for me.
Baseball Nut 24 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I'm looking forward to seeing how this game plays out but I agree with RCC9, I think with Ogle back (from first meeting) she will help tremendously on the defensive end and I think the revenge factor plays a "small" factor as well. I like ND by 8-10. I will be watching first game while getting setup on radio for the 2nd game.
Bric McC Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 It plays out alot. But if the refs doesnt have the say so of the game because they are playing at nda! i think Holmes win it easy
paNDA Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Pandas will dominate. This game and the rest of the 9th in my opinion.
SoftballFan14 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 It plays out alot. But if the refs doesnt have the say so of the game because they are playing at nda! i think Holmes win it easy First meeting this season was at NDA. You believe tonight will be different for the refs?
